Vivo has officially introduced its budget smartphone in India dubbed as Vivo Y29 5G. The smartphone boasts a 6.68-inch LCD punch-hole display and a 5,500mAh battery. For enhanced security, the phone incorporates a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of OS, the smartphone runs on Funtouch OS based on Android 14. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card.

To power the smartphone, Vivo has equipped its Y29 5G with a 5,500mAh battery, supporting 44W rapid charging for quick top-ups. As far as camera features are concerned, the Vivo Y29 5G features a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 0.08-megapixel auxiliary camera, accompanied by a dynamic light LED flash. However, the high-end variant 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at Rs 19,999.
