Lenovo ThinkBook Plus could be the first ever laptop with rollable display

Lenovo is most probably setting up the stage to introduce the first-ever rollable screen laptop in the market. According to a popular tipster Evan Blass, the company could introduce the Lenovo Thinkbook Plus at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 which is set to begin in Las Vegas on January 7, 2025. If the same happens, this is going to be a considerable development in the laptop market as until now, Asus has been the flagbearer of the same by offering different kinds of display panels in the laptops.

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus launch details

The device was first announced in October 2022 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona. At that time, it was pretty clear that the laptop was just a concept as of now. Talking about the device, it is going to sport a screen that expands vertically.

As of now, Evan Blass has not revealed any specifications or features of the upcoming laptop by Lenovo. However, the leaked images of the laptop suggest that it will also get support for artificial intelligence (AI) features along with a dedicated Copilot key. Apart from the mentioned, the design of the laptop looks pretty similar to other Lenovo laptops and the ThinkBook can be seen at the back.

The leaked images of the same also show some use cases that are possible with a rollable display. For example, a user might be able to watch YouTube content and work on the machine at the same time as well. Lenovo is trying to build machines that can work on all things like browsing, mobility, and multitasking, on one device. And the thought also aligns with the President of Lenovo Luca Rossi’s vision for the brand. All other details are still under wraps. Expectations are that we will get to see a leak or two before the official launch of the laptop.
