WhatsApp New Feature: Now You Can Scan Documents With the Camera

WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature under its new iOS update version of up to 24.25.89. The instant messaging app is rolling out a feature that will allow you to scan documents with the camera. The tech giant has officially announced the feature but some users may receive it in the coming days. To recall, the company introduced the party popper emoji as the seventh default reaction in an earlier update.

You can directly head to the App Store and download the latest WhatsApp for iOS 24.25.89 update. The update enhances the user experience and improves the overall satisfaction. The new feature will now make the document-sharing experience more comfortable and pleasant. WAbetainfo, a website that keeps an eye on the upcoming features of the popular instant messaging app, has given information about the rollout of the new Scan Documents feature in its latest report. According to the report, the WhatsApp for iOS 24.25.89 update available on the App Store has revealed that WhatsApp is rolling out the feature of scanning documents from the camera.

A recently shared screenshot from the WAbetainfo site showcases the feature rolling out to some users which enables users to seamlessly scan documents directly within the app. With the help of leveraging your smartphone camera, you can now swiftly capture documents and preview the scan. Additionally, you can also adjust the margins for a clean and crisp output.

The feature is introduced in order to enhance user’s productivity and convenience. This will also allow them to efficiently digitize their documents on the go. On clicking the Choose Document option, users will get three options: Choose from Files, Choose photo and video, and Scan Document. Users can scan the document by clicking on Scan Document.

However, the feature is right now rolled out only for iOS users and Android users have to wait for a few more days.
